Biography

MultitalentThis is Maarten

My name is Maarten Meiners and I am a professional skier of the Dutch National Team. I became national Dutch champion in 2011 and in 2012 as well. Also participated in the World Ski Championships in Garmisch (2011) and Schladming (2013) where I finished 20th at the Super-Combined. I competed at several Alpine Ski World Junior Championships and finished 12th in Roccaraso (ITA) in 2012 on the Giant-Slalom (best Dutch result ever) and 10th in Quebec (CAN) in 2013. Many podium and wins at different international FIS races.

Besides my career as proffesional skier, I’m studying Economics & Business at the University of Amsterdam.

My goal is to be the first Dutch ski racer at the 2018 Olympics, that means participating at the highest level of ski racing in the world. I have experience as brand ambassador and clinics for brands such as Rossignol, ERU Prestige, Audi, Hublot, Q1905 and many more to come!
